  • What a complete waste of a day! So we purchased the $18 Groupon coupons for a whole day access to the park, and thought it was a deal because they normally charge around $34 for an entire day. I forgot to check the reviews on this place, and I have buyers remorse. This place is worth $5, and maybe $10 if everything is open. You have to pay $10 to park in a dirt lot. I was expecting something paved with nice sidewalks or marked pedestrian paths like every other amusement style park has. The first sign of trouble was that it was a beautiful Sunday and the parking lot was nearly empty. Then, after you pay HST (Groupons don't include tax), they have a sign at the entrance that some slides were closed, which I did not pay any attention to because I did not realize at the time that it meant more than 50% of the park was closed. 2 of the 4 main slides and the entire kids area was closed. Also 1 of the 2 mini golf courses were open, and the 1 that was open had a honey bee infestation and a hole that eats your golf ball. The general feel for the park is that it has not been renovated since it was opened in the 1980's. Many of the buildings are in disrepair. They charge $5 + $5 deposit for small dirty lockers that have not been repaired since they were installed. They allow no outside food into the park, yet almost no food vendors were open. Luckily we planned ahead and packed a lunch and left it in the car. However, the park was so bad, we left in 2 hours. The park attempts to nickel and dime its customers even more. They charge extra if you want your own tube ( ~$8) but the park was dead, so we were able to survive with the park community tubes. They also charge extra for a a zip line over the park (~$15-20) or if you want to rent your own gazebo ($50/day) by the pool. The park also has a driving range, a drive in move theater and some sort of inflated dome sporting complex (that was in ruins when I was there), but the water park was such a disappointment I did not check these items out. That said, I would not be surprised if they charged extra for them. Basically this place under-delivers. I would not recommend this water park unless you want to ruin your day.
