BEDBUGS! What more do you need to know. Stayed in room 106 and woke up at 2:30am feeling itchy. I checked the Yelp reviews and found that another guest had bedbugs in room 204 about 7 months ago. I pulled back the sheets and found a bedbug cover on the bed. Not good. Further inspection revealed a bunch of bedbugs running from the light. I caught one and brought it to the front desk and immediately checked out. The front desk kid was apologetic and offered me a bottle of water. I will update this review when I hear from the manager.
UNACCEPTABLE
UPDATE:
The manager, Michael Luna, claimed that he had an exterminator check our room 106 and that "there was no activity". Not sure how I got bitten then AND caught one and took a picture. Michael was pleasant enough to deal with through email although it was easy to tell he was towing the company line of "never admit fault". He said that he would give me enough Best Western points for a nights stay at another hotel.
I'm sure most of the rooms don't have bedbugs, but after reading what I went through, are you willing to risk it?
UPDATE:
Michael Luna never gave me any compensation by way of points or otherwise for his bed buggy hotel. Don't care, never staying there again and neither should you.
