| - I was very disappointed with my experience here. I've been to other Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle stores in LA, and this store is just a poor representation of the chain. The prices were high as usual, but the location is very, very tiny. It's not a store as much as it is a kiosk with four walls. It's hard to navigate, let alone have more than 5 people in the store, as everything is so cramped, forcing you to inch around in order to look at the merchandise. Since the store is so small, their selection is obviously quite limited. They only had basic Rilakkuma items, Studio Ghibli, etc.
Although I love that there actually is a vendor on the Strip offering Japanese imports among a sea of Italian leather goods, I really don't think this is a proper representation of kawaii goods to the tourist and American market. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're looking for a wide selection of Japanese imports.
I am giving them a second star because the clerk seemed sweet in our short interaction together. There is parking available at any of the hotels, and they accept credit cards. They have a strict return policy - no refunds, only exchanges or merchandise credit will be issued within a short amount of time.
