  • We had lunch today at Phoenix City Grill which is just about 2.5 miles north our home and were pleasantly surprised. We'd heard good things about it but never tried it. We arrived about 12:30 and were seated immediately. Judging by the parking lot I was prepared for a wait. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered drinks and the hummus plate to start. All good. I had the 16th St. Burger with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. I ordered my burger cooked to medium and that's exactly how it arrived. A nice surprise. My companion ordered the Phoenix Cheese Steak Sandwich which he loved. For a side he ordered the Horseradish Mashed Potatoes. I got a taste and they were awesome. We didn't have room for dessert. I'd highly recommend PCG. We'll definitely be back.
