  • Texas de Brazil has lost my business. There are very slim chances I will ever return. The only reason for the 2 stars - is previous visits were ok. Nothing is phenomenal about this place. We had 4:15 Saturday reservations...we promptly arrived at 4:05p to not be seated till 4:30. This is where we started to worry. More than half the restaurant was empty, 3 hostesses were hanging out chatting at the front of the restaurant and there was at least 6 groups waiting to be seated. If they had been super busy - I wouldn't have worried about the delay in being seated. We got seated, picked a few things up at the buffet and began the excitement of "all the meats!". I, personally, was looking forward to Lamb chops. We get a couple meats, I get a clean plate. All this time our cards never turned from green. We were seated right outside where the servers pick up the meat. They HAVE to walk past us to go in and out. My Friend and I both have empty - completely empty plates. After waiting about 5-8 minutes I jokingly say "I should time how long it takes us to get some meat." I get that the servers probably have routes that they go on to deliver meat - but is ours even on one? We wait 20 minutes (I started timing). Kid you not -at least 20 minutes. (Half the tables in the restaurant are still empty). We even tried to flag people down. all the tables around us have plates overflowing with meat. We have absolutely nothing on our plates. I track down a manager and go speak to them. He tells me he just arrived and doesn't know what's going on. So I go back to our table. Our waitress comes over - I show her the clock on my phone. She smirks and laughs to whole time. I was so frustrated at this point - I had lost my appetite. The manager who i had previously spoken to comes over and says - we have meat cooking for you. My friend says - Don't bother - we'd just like the bill as we have both lost our appetites. He walks into the kitchen/grill and screams "86 everything for table 18." (That's how close we were). Walks over to us - who have our credit cards out ready to pay. And says - "you can go. Just get out." Essentially dismissing us. We were ready to pay. Never an apology. Instead we were treated like we did something wrong. I won't return. I was so utterly disappointed and shocked by the treatment we had received, it's not worth it. The manager's treatment was not acceptable. The laughter from the waitress was not acceptable. Tread carefully.
