First things first: churros made to order. Let me repeat that. Churros made to order. Mountains of biscotti greet you, as does the friendly owner. Then the Gelato and sorbets catch your eye. Different types made daily, with locally (well, the farm is an hours drive) sourced products. The man fights snakes for some of his ingredients, ladies and gentlemen. Wife tried a churro filled with caramel. I had a bite and wanted more, but the wife snarled at me. She really loved it as her ocd didn't kick in as caramel dripped onto her clothes.
I tried the local orange sorbet and it was amazing. Refreshing, not overwhelmingly sweet, had all the sweetness of the orange with a little zest aftertaste. Totally worth the drive from Henderson. Can't wait to try other flavors.
