We're relatively new to KinderCare but I've found the staff to be incredibly patient and very much concerned with the well-being of my son. I wasn't sure what to expect with a larger center but really have been pleasantly surprised. The food is homemade, the outdoor play area is awesome and the caregivers are attentive and care about what we want as a family, not what they think we need. It's been a very positive experience for us!
As for illness, it's been my experience that when my child starts a new daycare, they always get sick. It's how they build immunities--they're exposed to a whole new set of germs and catching colds ends up being a good thing in the long run. Even though it's hard to go through it when it's happening to you.
I've been a stay-at-home mom and I know how tough it is caring for babies and kids all day. Sometimes, kids refuse to let you wipe their noses!
