  • Just went here for lunch. I work downtown at QuickenLoans and wanted to always try the Lobby Court. Since Sans Souci is now only used for breakfast, the Lobby Court is the new lunch and dinner place in the Renaissance. Obviously the environment is beautiful being right off the lobby in the this gorgeous hotel so that in itself gets five stars. I've came to the Lobby Court Bar for drinks in the past and always enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks are always top notch. The bartenders are always friendly, well-mannered, and attentive. I sat down and ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, the bartender without asking poured a little for me to taste ahead of time before pouring the full glass. I always find that a great sign of good service and being courteous. I ordered the Turkey Club. It came with bacon, swiss, lettuce, and tomato. It typically comes with mayo but I asked for their house balsamic vinaigrette on the side instead as I'm not a fan of mayonnaise. It turned out to be a delicious pairing! I had fries as my side as well and they are very tasty, a little salty but nonetheless delicious. The Lobby Court is a little pricey for lunch while working but honestly with the atmosphere, the good service, an tasty food - it's worth it! Check it out.
