It's not bad, the cheese tarts. But after eating one from Pablo's in Japan, these just don't compare. Not only are they more expensive, the price doesn't justify the quality. As others have said, the crust doesn't feel special at all.
It's deceptive pricing, buy 6 get one free. Also, they charge tax on non taxable items (if you buy 6 or more small baked goods, there shouldn't be tax).
Try it once for gimmicks sake but really...you could make your own with PC mini pie shells. I know food is cheaper if you DIY, but in the case of these tarts you pay for the name. That's about it.
Ironically, when I went to Japan and asked Japanese people about Uncle tetsu, no one knew what i was talking about...
