| - I like this place, mostly for it's atmosphere and location. My double espresso was very good excellent. The barista was professional and friendly. I will go back and try more coffee drinks, and will update this review if necessary.
Instead of dimly lighted and closed, this place is open, airy, and filled with natural light. The whole wall that faces the street is comprised of roll-up doors, so when they're open, the whole place is like a porch or patio. The metal chairs and tables and general decor feel like a cool garage, not a mossy pub (like too many coffeehouses).
It's close to the Great Allegheny Trail, so I can bike here, and the open, inside-is-outside setup means I don't have to chain my bike up to enjoy a shot. The location, south of South Side Works' chains, and past E Carson's busier stops is really nice, almost off the beaten path, but still close.
