| - Drai's is pretty crackin' as quoted by my buzzed friends to our helpful waiter, Nico. The maid of honor in our bachelorette party was able to score a comped table and bottle our last night in Vegas by being her awesome self and becoming acquaintances with some super cool promoters. Not sure how all of that went down, so I won't be much help with contacting specific promoters. I just know some are nicer and more helpful than others.
Drai's is half indoor/outdoor. The outdoor rooftop is amazing! It's a pool party during the day and probably during After Hours. You can easily spot Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, and the Cosmo from any seat outside. Our table was outside but very close to the indoor venue. The inside is actually cold despite all of the people crowding around and dancing. We saw T-Pain the night we went and he delivered. I've been going to EDM clubs so I was surprised T-Pain arrived earlier than expected and left after about 1.5 hours of performing, with the club still open and jamming to the Bay Area! native DJ.
Since we didn't enter the guest list and general admission line, we didn't have to go through metal detectors like everyone else did. We did, however, get in that line just to take a photo with the Drai's backdrop, which turned out quite well. Thank you to the couple that took our pic! The security personnel that checked our ID at the table line were so nice and professional. Table service staff are prompt and bring out new juice bottles when the old ones are only half empty! Kind of a waste but hey, it's their job. They have pineapple, orange, and white cranberry. The bottle we got had a much higher alcohol percentage than we thought, but no one was complaining. The bride to be decided to get some shots to end the night and her bartender was nice enough to comp them!
If you love hip hop, this is the place for you.
