| - Sutra is a family-owned yoga studio on 7th Street just south of Thomas. The owners are super friendly and the studio--which offers yoga, pilates, massage, and juice--has a hip, industrial vibe.
The "Basic Flow" yoga class is a great option if you're newer to yoga or looking to get a refresher on fundamentals. Lately I've mostly done the Vinyasa Flow or Candlelight Flow intermediate-level classes. I've tried the Power Flow classes a few times, but they tend to involve a lot of arm balances (which either I flat-out can't do, or for the few I can, I end up making my wrists verrrryy unhappy). I've also done a handful of the Skullpt barre-pilates classes, which are challenging for sure but an awesome workout.
As far as pricing, my schedule is too hectic for the membership option to make financial sense, so I've only done individual class packages. If you get a 10-class pack, though, it's pretty reasonable (currently $110 or $11/class for yoga). Sometimes they even have special deals on class packages throughout the year.
Parking can be iffy at times. Technically you can use the church lot across 7th street (and use the crosswalk), but on the handful of times I couldn't get a spot in the Sutra lot, I've been able to park on Sheridan St.
