  • I'm a Vons/Safeway/Tom Thumb girl. Always have been. I last shopped here in 2009 and I remember this Vons being relatively new, exciting, and the best Vons ever!! Today...not so much. Given that Anthem is growing rapidly, this rinky dink store needs to get it together. It is WAY too small for the area it serves. The shelves are blown out. ALWAYS!! I can hardly find CAFFEINE FREE Coke here. Never have this problem elsewhere. Other reviewers mentioned this same issue: empty shelves. Brad, one of the managers...super nice guy. Pharmacy is inept & waste of time. Told the tech to pull my file from Windmill, then the pharmacist asks me loads of questions that make no sense. Obviously they didn't pull my info from Windmill otherwise the questions wouldn't be asked. 30 minutes wasted to get a flu shot!! And I was the only one there. Before going up the hill hit Smiths or a different Vons. This one most likely won't have what you need.
