Good spot for pho in a quieter area of Tempe. Prices are fairly standard for AZ (about $1-2 more per item compared to San Diego).
Egg rolls weren't bad. A little dry for my taste, but good flavor. They're not at all stingy with their vegetables here, and even include cucumber/carrots, which I don't usually see at my pho spots!
My family ordered 2 Pho Xe Lua (#1, "Everything" Combo Beef) and 2 Pho Tai Nam Gan (#5, Rare+well done beef & beef tendon). Overall the consensus was pleasantly surprised with quality! They don't give you the largest portion of meat, but it's a solid bowl. The broth is SO flavorful, and didn't seem to be full of MSG like so many of pho experiences. (My family didn't feel alarmingly thirsty after this meal as we often do post-pho).
The Thai tea was just right and not sickeningly sweet like some places tend to do.
If I'm back in the area, I think I'll be back to Khai Hoan for my pho fix!
