  • Went today 15 minutes before the 11 am opening and there was already a long lineup. I love cheesecake, so I want to try this Japanese cheesecake that everyone is talking about. I waited 1 hr & 10 minutes outside the store and another 1 hour and 5 mins inside the store for a total of 2 hrs & 15 mins. I don't mind waiting if the food is worth it, but Uncle Tetsu Japanese cheesecake is just meh and won't blow your mind off. The madeleine is nothing special too, tasted like a regular cupcake minus the icing. I also think paying $17.56 for a cheesecake & 4 madeleines is such a steep price to pay. So is it worth to stand in line for more than 2 hours, definitely not! But if you don't have anything better to do and want to try a different type of cheesecake then go for it. Otherwise spend your money & time somewhere else.
