I'd been here a handful of times in other vegas visits and really looked forward to a return as a trip highlight. Nice, if pricy, selection of cigars but alas the bar staff is terrible. First visit I couldn't get any attention to have a refill of a ($20) cocktail. Finally left. Two days later I decided that maybe it was an off day and I'd try again. Even worse - smoked half a cigar and no one at the bar offered to serve me. Place wasn't full although there may have been a corporate party in the back room. However 5 folks behind the bar and not even an acknowledgement even though only 2 others sat at the bar. Finally left, at which point I got a "do you need something?" From one of the bartenders. I don't expect to be given VIP treatment but I do expect common courtesy and a small bit of service. Took my cigar and found another bar in Caesars. I had been a big supporter of Casa Fuentes in the forum shops and I'll return to it. Nice folks, a bit more of a walk, but I don't need to beg for service there. Btw the guy selling cigars at this Monte Cristo location was quite nice both visits. They should have him train the others on the concept of customer service. My first visit was during several young women visiting at the same time - not surprisingly the male bar staff bent over backward to take care of them. The second time there was no such distraction, but somehow the other teo at the bar managed to get served.
