  • Aggressively hitting the below average mark. Kitchenette does not have an oven. Poop wafts the halls. Either they're never changing the hallway trash cans OR tacky people are putting diapers in the hallway trash cans daily. Either way - I've been smelling poop daily for 4 days on the ground floor & on my floor. Breakfast will definitely made you gag. Eggs aren't even expensive, I don't understand why hotels all use bagged eggs. Incredibly slow elevator. Normally I wouldn't mention it but the hotel staff takes the elevator too. Standard would be staff doesn't take the elevator or if they do, they let guests go to their floor first then select their floor. For me, the hallways smelling like poop for 4 days was the last straw. I called in *3 times* to let them know the floors stink. 2 weeks into a 4+ week insurance-paid-for trip I had insurance switch me hotels. They missed out on a long term client because they have no quality control. Maybe fine for a 1-2 night stay. I can't believe their rate for their quality control. Other Homewood Suites in the valley have much better reviews; I think this may be a particularly bad one.
