So I understand that Republic is the only trash company in Henderson and Vegas however customers should still be treated like customers. Lately we've had a problem with the drivers arriving during business hours which is what is needed at our facility. Last week when this happened the call center assured us that they would swing back by another day and pick up our trash. When they failed to come we did not get upset we simply called and asked 4 credit for that week. This week when the driver came we had forgot to unlock the bin. When the driver pull back up to the gate we realized our mistake and ask the driver if he would mind pulling back around while we unlock the bin, this would have taken 5 minutes of his time. He rudely told us that he didn't have time for that and drove off. It seems to me that if we can make accommodations for their mistakes without getting upset that they could take 5 extra minutes to accommodate us when we make one. Him not having the time probably would have been understood also if he even tried to be professional about it. Accommodating for mistakes should be reciprocal. I will be glad to revise my review if I see that upper management takes notice. A Little professionalism goes a long way.
