  • Sad no rating lower than 1 star. DO NOT ORDER BEES FROM THIS CHAIN. They are setting up Arizona customers for dead bees after install. Original ship date 2nd week of March when its still cool enough to get them safely. No notification that they have pushed out ship date to last week of April. WAY TOO HOT in Southwest Desert to be shipping bees. The unscrupulous vendor supplying the bees CF Koehnen and sons will get there money and wash their hands of the death of the bees being shipped to Southwest Desert. Cal ranch agreement for customer will not allow for rejecting sick/weak bees upon inspection of their arrival in Cal ranch stores. The customer will be screwed with packages of bees that WILL fail after installation. The know nothing corporate cal ranch representative just DOES NOT CARE. They are being trucked from willow ca to southern utah, revivied and handled again. Then shipped to southern arizona. Too long in transport across rough roads. Too long with out proper humidity. Half arse attempt too keep them cool is not the thing that will ensure they arrive safely and healthy. Junior chipmonk corporate weiner has NO CLUE!!!!! Scrupulous bee vendors across the rest of the nation have canceled bee shipments to the desert southwest effective early March due to earlier then expected heat. The worst part is the fact CAL RANCH DID NOT NOTIFY CUSTOMERS EXPECTING BEES EARLY MARCH. THE DEADLINE TO CANCEL AND GET FULL REFUND IS MARCH 23. BLATANT AND INTENTIONAL TO INSURE CAL RANCH SCREWS OVER UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS. AND THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY... SPOKE WITH OTHER LONGTIME BEE KEEPERS IN VALLEY AND WE ALL AGREE CAL RANCH IS LOWER THAN WHALE POOP. MANY OF OUR CUSTOMERS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LACK OF ETHICS AND MORALS. THIS CRAP CHAIN IS SHAFTING THE CUSTOMERS.
