  • I love costco!!!! Man do i love costco! Yeah its souless to the tenth degree and I dont care! its a great place to get certain items! Here is a list of some of my favorite features. -Meat department- Really great, they have a wide selection at wholesale prices! the beef selection really shines!!, and I love how you can see all the meat people in the back spraying down their butchering tables with hot soapy water. thats one clean operation! Cheese- Yep, believe it or not costco carries some world class cheese (not super huge selection) but they got all the staples and occasionally some really cool suprises. I always get my parmigiano reggiano here a nice huge wedge its last me for months and then i make minestrone with the rinds! Concession- Two words, HOT DOG! best cheap hot dog in the city! 2 bucks for a big dog and a drink, with all the toppings you could want! pizza is ok to. apparantly the poutine aint bad either but I always go for the dog. The workers are often very grumpy, i find it amusing and by the time I get my dog i dont even remember Odds and ends- everything from golf clubs (i hate golf) to stereos and big screen TV's, random funiture car tires, batteries! I always enjoy walking around and looking at this crap! Its very fun! Samples- Yes on a saturday afternoon always at least three people dealing out some food, the best part is they rarely remember you so you can always come back for seconds!! having a staff thats this impersonable has its advantages! Bakery- The bakery at costco is wicked! much much better than any safeway or co-op. I highly reccomend you get a membership just so you can get their croissants! they are high quality! taste like they came out of a french baking school! Ok that about covers it !
