  • If I could give no stars, I would. Total scam. They came in, told us our water heater was dead (which would've been my fist clue, since we were getting some hot water.... But we had just moved in and have three kids, so you can imagine how hectic the time was). They proceeded to TAKE our tank, saying it would expedite the home warranty approving a new one. Then, we had a leaking pipe above our dining room. They could have cut a two foot hole, fixed the pipe, and moved on. But no..... They brought in some guys in hazmat suits who taped off our room, took the entire wall down, removed stuff and refused to show us what it was, and then informed us that they had to leave drying machines, etc., and would need to file a claim with our homeowners insurance. Needless to say, we called Belsito plumbing to fix our problem... AND told AZ Flood Sqaud to get their stuff out of our house. Long story longer- we didn't need a new water heater. And we didn't need our dining room torn apart. David from 1st choice was getting paid by AZ flood squad for the referral and the rest is scam history.
