  • The Grey Eagle Casino has an ace up it's sleeve when it comes to the gambling scene in Calgary. All right, maybe not an ace, but rather, a cigarette. Owning to the fact that it is situated on the Tsuu T'ina First Nation within the city of Calgary, the non-smoking bylaw does not apply. So, if you crave the authentic Las Vegas experience (i.e. blowing your smoke while blowing your wad), then this is the place for you. The Grey Eagle is also a mecca to the Blue-Haired set, as evidenced by their sprawling Bingo complex that seats 550. If you can take a break from all the excitement, check out the featured performer on Friday and Saturday nights, usually starting at 9:30pm. With over 84,000 square feet of gaming action, 59 table games, 24/7 poker room, and 600 slots, there's plenty of ways to spend your paycheck. There are two restaurants inside, including both fine dining and buffet styles for brunch, lunch and dinner. For all you die-hards out there, I highly recommend the $1.99 breakfast special Monday - Thursday, 9:30 - 11:00.
