It was OK but nothing special. They pulled a good Guinness, but that was it. It took almost ten minutes to get a waitress to my table, and they were hardly busy (it was 6:10pm, and there were only 8 people in the restaurant). I ordered the lamb shepherds pie. I was hoping for chucks of lamb meat mixed with peas, carrots, and onion. What I got was a ground up stew. It tasted ok, albeit a bit bland, but there was no texture. It was like eating baby food. It is my observation that when a cut of meat is below par, you grind it. Will I go back? Maybe. The one plus was that it was within walking distance to my hotel, so I could enjoy many Guinness and not have to drive.
