| - HORRIBLE APARTMENT COMPLEX
Now I am not the type that usually gives my opinion about places, but when it comes to the place that I am living I have to warn other people so that they don't have to go through it. First of all we had issues with when we were supposed to move into the apartment, we had our U haul all packed up and ready to go and we called them just to double check the day before and OOPS the apartment wasn't cleaned and ready so we would have to wait another WEEK before we could move in. So I dealt with that issue but we finally move down here and I order a package online. The shipping info said that it arrived at the apartment complex so I go to pick it up at the office and SOMEONE ELSE has signed for my package and it is now "missing" which the workers in the office didn't think that it was a big deal that SOMEONE ELSES NAME WAS SIGNED FOR MY PACKAGE!!!!! So I had to deal with calling the UPS and I still have never gotten the package and who knows who stole it but the apartment did NOTHING to help figure it out. Now fast forward a month later and this is my LASTEST issue h I had to deal with today, which is the reason why I am writing this review because it took me over the edge. My husband and I work from 9-9 Monday- Saturday so our Sundays are our ONLY days off, at 7:00 AM we hear this constant beeping coming from the wall adjacent to our master bedroom, it isn't as loud as a fire alarm but it sounds like someone left their alarm clock on and haven't turned it off. So we move to the couch and continue sleeping until we have to get on with our day. Now we get home at 6 PM and the beeping isn't as constant but it is still there, so we call the office and it is closed. We are hopeful that the beeping will stop later so that we will be able to go to sleep, well now it is 10 PM and the beeping won't stop and my husband has tried multiple times to get a hold of the peoples apartment where the beeping is coming from but of course they won't come to the door. SO we finally call the emergency number and leave a message, no response, we call a half an hour later, no response. FINALLY they call us back and tell us that they were "outside" but heard no beeping noise, which we know is a lie because my husband was walking around outside trying to figure it out and never saw anyone. The guy on the phone was mad at my husband for calling about something that "isn't" a problem but how do we know that the beeping isn't a Co2 monitor, fire alarm, security, who knows what?! AND WE CANT FALL ASLEEP WITH FREAKING BEEPING GOING ON. So basically the guy tells us that he cant do anything about it and we can file a noise complaint. So now we moved our bed into the living room so that the beeping wouldn't be as loud. WORD OF ADVICE: don't ever live here, the workers are not the get it done attitude that they should be working at a apartment complex, the parking is HORRENDOUS (we never get to park in front of our building EVER & you don't have an assigned spot) and their apartments are over priced for the quality you get which isn't that great ( broken toilets, cabinets peeling off.) Well thanks for nothing Cantera, I am so thrilled to be sleeping in my living room tonight.
