While airport-adjacent hotels make their money by profiting from the unfortunate passengers whose flights are cancelled without prior warning; and therefore, have no options but to accept lower-end accommodations, senior management for this joint represents a new low for that unfortunate business model. Simply put, you do not charge your standard rack ($170 per night) rate when your hotel is in the middle of major construction. See pic. (Undisclosed in website btw). That is so shady. The rooms are meh, mostly because of the gray color. (Liven up folks). Bed a real plus. Good TV and bath and decent Wifi. The restaurant was dated but the food quality was surprisingly very good. A small investment in new furniture would pay off well. The staff was very much in the helpful and polite Canadian tradition. That helped.
