| - The line wasn't that long and it moved kinda fast for Monday brunch.
Wicked food express ($18.00): create your own carry out
or
Brunch ($23.00): includes bloody mary, mimosa or champagne.
We went to another line after paying but we kinda had to figure it out ourselves since the cashier didn't tell us anything. She also forgot to give our other receipt.
The place is cute. Cuter than typical buffet because almost everything is served in its own containers. We got different stuff so we could exchange and share pots and containers @ the table. It's kinda a waste though because we didn't share everything. I usually gets one piece of fried chicken instead of two so the other one is left uneaten.
The menu is very creative for a buffet: bone marrow, pork belly banh mi, duck ravioli, pig ears salad, etc. The food is decent but not mind blowing. Most of them are either overcooked or super salty.
This place is definitely not eco friendly. I like having them in take out box, shot glass, pot, etc but that means they have to wash more pots and throw away more take out containers.
The dessert is actually better than the other dishes. Beautiful dessert: sweet potato flan, kalamansi, cocoonut panna cota, homemade marshmallow, and even macaron. The ice cream is kinda yum: thai tea, peanut salted caramel, nutella, etc.
3 stars!!
Wicked Spoon is creative but not that yummylicious!!
