  • My GF had a friend come into Toronto from Montreal and we had seen the buses zipping around the city all the time when we lived down in St Lawrence Market area and thought this tour would be a great way for us to show her friend around the city. We paid for our tickets and got onboard at the Metro Convention centre, where we waited, and waited and waited for almost 20 mins before the bus started to move. We grabbed a spot upstairs on the second floor of the bus as it was a beautiful day. First off the audio on the bus was awful. We took the tour for two of the 3 days we paid for and on both days we could hardly understand what was being said weather we sat upstairs or downstairs on the bus. What we could hear and understand was useless information. I could learn more about the Toronto historical spots by going on Wikipedia on my own. There were numerous tourists on the bus who I don't think spoke English so they decided to have their own conversations during the tour which made it even more impossible to make out what was being said. Many of the so called "tourist" hot spots are not even really driven by, they go near them but not by them. A perfect example of this is Casa Loma. How hard would it be to zip up Austin Terrace and drive by Casa Loma? Instead this bus turns down Davenport driving by the back of Casa Loma that is mostly covered by the woods. I felt bad for any tourists who take this tour as it really is a rip off. It also misses a lot of good Toronto spots. High Park, The Beaches, The CNE grounds, Maple Leaf Gardens, The Danforth etc. Even the spots it does drive by they don't talk about. We drove right by the Flat Iron building but the guide didn't even mention it. I won't be taking anyone else on this.
