  • To celebrate my mom's birthday, I took her to see "Appropriate" thank to Yelp. It was both of our first times at the Dobama Theatre. The theatre is located at the Heights Library facility on Lee Road. The theatre is very small and vintage. Any seat you decide to sit in is pretty much front row. They have kept the original seating so be forewarned to anyone who can't sit in very low chairs, has long legs, is on the plus size or pregnant. One hour into the show and I was begging for them to get to intermission so i can stretch my legs. The show was okay. It was almost 3 hours long watching a family unfold with drama and dysfunction after a loved one died. I definitely would like to see what other plays they have for the 2018-2019 schedule. Maybe next time i will bring a seat cushion.
