| - I went in on Dec 23 as a Christmas gift to get my eyelashes done. I was super excited because I've been wanting to go for a while but never took the time to go. First impression of the shop, it's beautiful and the staff are all amazing! The receptionist and my lash tech were very kind. I received the "glamor," or "glamorous," set and they were beautiful, but it took 3 hours. Whatever. I was given the instructions for the care for my lashes and have followed them. Which include understanding you'll need a refill every 3-4 weeks. I'm ok with that.
My dilemma began about 5 days after getting my lashes and noticing them fall out...in large amounts. I continued on with understanding I'll need a fill in a few weeks regardless. Well now I'm into day 11 and I literally have about 8 lashes left on each eye. And my picture I posted was from last night so technically Day 10. The fact that I paid $150 for lashes to last less than two weeks, it's disappointing.
And no, I do not use oily products. To be honest, the first week I used only a wash clothe and washed around my face and avoided my eyes to hopefully allow the lashes to last longer. Wishful thinking.
This review is not to make bad remarks on the shop or services because as I stated, the service was awesome and the shop is very nice! It's more or less to make you aware. I spent $150 before the tip ...and unfortunately, my lashes are practically back to bare. I would have considered getting refills every 3-4 weeks but I don't have the time or energy to do it every 10 days. And after reading everyone else's reviews, I guess I'm not the only one who's experienced this. I'll go back to the lash strips once these stragglers fall off.
Also...I'm from Germany but have enough respect to speak English, especially in front of clients or people, period. They spoke Russian to one another the entire time. Rude.
