  • I have suffered from year round allergies especially when outdoors which I am often because I love outdoor sports. I have been treated by an allergy doctor with both over the counter and prescription medications. For many years these medications were sufficient. This winter my allergies became worse than ever. My nose was stuffed up and/or running all the time. I could not get a good nights sleep. I was getting nose bleeds from blowing my nose so much. I contacted Dr. Heiland's office and was directed to Julie Kramer PA-C, physician's assistant since she could see me the following day. Julie spent one hour with me making sure that I had no other illness which exhibit the same symptoms. After confirmIing that I had a mild sinus infection along with the allergies, she suggested an antibiotic gel and steroid injections administered in my nose. The next day I woke up with a clear nose. I could again breathe properly. IT WAS LIKE A MIRACLE! The real test was going outside on a windy day for a round of golf. The shots worked magnificently. I have been able to cutback on my prescription medications and only use them as a backup when I am outside for more than several hours. Julie's medical assessment and recommended treatment have really changed my life so that I can fully enjoy the sports I love. Julie has a warm and friendly personality. She is very competent, competent and professional. I highly recommend her.
