I've lived all around the Valley and have tried what feels like every Catholic church. I've enjoyed most but have definitely found a home at St. Thomas. I moved to the neighborhood shortly after becoming a parent. I was first impressed that they have a crying room. This was huge for me! Not that my son was a big crier but anyone with a baby at church knows they're prone to outburst and it's rare for a church to have a crying room. Well.. on top of that, they have FREE childcare during the morning masses. This just blew my mind. I had never heard of this before at a Catholic church. You can drop your kids off 15 minutes prior to mass and then pick them up after mass. If that's not enough, they even recently installed a tv outside for parents to be able to watch mass if they're little one needs fresh air. St. Thomas the Apostle, just might be the most child friendly church in the valley. On top of all this, the congregation members are very kind and welcoming and you truly feel like family.
