For me, the location of Pewter Rose has always been one of its selling points. If you're going to lunch from an uptown gig, it's far enough out of town to be able to park without spending your entire meeting driving around in circles looking for a spot, but it's close enough and easy to find that nobody has a problem.
The decor is lovely, and the food is good, if a bit overpriced.
My favorite time to go is for the weekend brunch. It's a great place to meet with girlfriends to do the sassy brunch-gossip thing...The wild mushroom fritatta is awesome, as is the bananas foster. (They should be ashamed of themselves for charging $8 for granola, however).
