Came here for lunch. The place was really dark, but not so dark you had to use a flashlight to read the menu. Sarah was bartending and she was very pleasant. As soon as people started shuffling in for lunch, and she was the ONLY person on the floor at the time, she was still attentive to us.
One weird thing I noticed was a lady sitting next to the fireplace reading a book...with songs from ACDC and the like playing in the background. Who the hell comes to a dark bar to read a novel?! Very strange. Also, why the hell is there a fireplace?! I got a kick out of that.
I ordered the chicken sandwich and my friend had a burger. It took a while for the food to come out, but once it did, I was happy. The chicken was moist, the bacon crisp and the veggies on it fresh. Ended up taking half to go, and it held up nicely as a midnight snack.
I'll be back, but at a different time of day. I'd like to see some bands play.
But I must say, I felt like a vampire walking out of that place at that time of day...
