We've been Ashley furniture customers for awhile. Their furniture looks nice and seem affordable. Their financing isnt so bad as well.
We currently ran into a problem moving our furniture over seas because the head/footboard (king size) is longer than the size of the crate. When the movers tried to disassemble the head board they noticed that the head board was modified to keep it more stable. The wood is definitely from another piece of furniture and did not come from the manufacturer.
Is this really a problem? No. Does this question the quality of the furniture. Yes.
Also, we had to redo our dining table and found out our table is not pure wood. The top was plywood and was very close to not being able to fix it.
Again. Quality of the items we have been purchasing from ashley has not been what we expected.
If it matters thougg, we wouldnt have noticed if we didnt break the table or if we didnt have to move overseas.
