| - Almost four stars, but I just couldn't pull the trigger for that.
Most importantly, the steaks are excellent! Had the 8 ounce filet, medium, and it was cooked as requested, very good flavor, but not quite as tender as some other elite steakhouses in Las Vegas.
The sides were good, but not great. The au gratin potatoes tasted good, but had way way too much cheese, and was also too greasy. The onion strings were good, but nothing to write home about. One side that did stand out was the lobster bisque.... very well balanced, and rich (that gets an A+)
The gimmicks didn't impress me, like the "distinctive dining menu" that had to be referenced on the website, as it wasn't included with the menu provided by the server. Other reviews mentioned that the "distinctive dining menu" must be printed... I call BS on that. When I go to a great steakhouse, I don't want to print special menus as part of some procedure before dinner!
When the server presents the bill, they also give a song and dance about some club to join to get special dining discounts.
