Worst service I have ever had with a rental car company. Had to speak with a call center representative in Mexico & would not be allowed to talk to a supervisor or a manager. Reservation made 2 months ago for a family member. Called to change the credit card that was given to the member's personal card since they would not honor a reservation in one name & paid by another. No problem - wrong!! Avis would not do this but happy to cancel my reservation for $50, however, I was charged $150 over the phone. The call representative was happy to reserve a car in the family member's name & credit card, however, the price went from less than $300 to over $800. I have always rented from Enterprise where I have never had a problem. Saw some great rates at Avis so thought I'd try them. What was I thinking??!!?? Never again & will be telling everyone I know not to use them either.
