eat. is one of those breakfast joint that you want to go when you feel extra hip. Located in the heart of DTLV and is fairly easy to find. Parking is tricky in the area. I pulled up by eat. only to find that there are only pay parking available. $1 got me about an hour of parking. AJi%4adh !?Really? Ain't nobody got time for that.
ATMOSPHERE
Small and quaint. Love the open kitchen and the whole design of this place. We went there little bit after they opened (8AM), and place was somewhat packed.
SERVICE
Attentive and friendly staffs. Warm greetings in and out.
FOOD
I was craving something sweet (Yes, from early in the morning). After scrolling through some pictures I knew I was sure to get their Cinammon biscuit. It;s a cinammon biscuit with strawberry sauce, garnished with raspberry and strawberry. Beautifully presented and it was good! Biscuit itself wasn't warm as I expected it to be and was very crumbly. I liked how strawberry sauce wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. 4/5
Also got to try Chicken fried steak which I had no clue of. Never had this in my life. I learned that although it's called chicken fried steak, it's not a real chicken. This southern dish is a steak that is coated with flour and pan-fried, like a fried chicken. I can't really compare this with chicken fried steak from other places as I never had it before, but I enjoyed this hearty dish a lot. Came with crispy potatoes and few toasts on the side. What a great way to start a morning...5/5
CONCLUSION
Awesome place. Great breakfast/lunch join in Downtown. Will be back!
