When I lived in Mississauga it used to be that when outside of downtown Toronto, one of the only places you could find authentic Asian ingredients was here. While convenient the place was rather small, the prices for non-Asian type foods like produce was typically rather high but I was able to get certain Asian things I had wanted without necessarily breaking the bank or having to head downtown.
But I never really liked the place. It felt kinda dirty and shabby and wasn't up to what I would consider a good Asian supermarket.
Recently I went back, just to see what there was and the prices are just more than what you should be paying for. Luckily we have a lot more choices today than we did 10 years ago. If you happen to be in the neighborhood and need something right away then sure, give them a try. But with the Chinese supermarkets popping up all over the place typically your choices are a lot larger and the prices are better elsewhere.
