| - Had Earl Clark roofing out to do some repairs on the house we were selling and although we didn't live in the house after the repairs were completed, it seemed it though they did a good job for a reasonable price, they were responsive to questions and scheduling was easy. We knew when we moved into our new house that we were going to need a few repairs done so we had planned on calling them again. We really try to be loyal customers and if we have found a business that we feel does a good job, we like to give them repeat business and establish a good working relationship.
We had planned on waiting until the fall to do the few repairs that we knew needed to be done but unexpectedly, after the last hard monsoon rain, we discovered a leak. I called Earl Clark roofing a week ago and explain to them that we had an active leak as well as a few other repairs that we needed done. I was told that someone would call me back with a time to come out and give us an estimate. No one called me back so after two days, I called them back. Was told again that they would be calling me to schedule a time to come out and give an estimate. I again waited a few days, and no one called me so I called them back again. This went on until Friday when I finally called again and ask them when they would be calling me to schedule a time to come out and give an estimate. Was told that they would contact the owner right then and have him call me. Never heard from him. Called again Monday morning and explained to them that we would really love to be repeat customers but if they are too busy to even come out and give us an estimate, I'm not even asking for them to schedule the repairs, I just need an estimate, to let me know and we will find someone else. She again explains to me that someone will have to call me back just to schedule a time to give an estimate... This isn't scheduling a time to actually do the repairs, this is just to get someone out to give me an estimate. If it takes this long to do the estimate, I can only imagine how far out they're booking to do repairs which I did ask about but only got the same response that someone will have to call me back to schedule a time to do the estimate. So again, I get the runaround... Someone will call me back. I asked her if they were too busy to please let me know and I would contact someone else. I reminded her that we have an active leak and that it's been over a week since I contacted them the first time. She says they're not too busy and someone will call me back but apparently they are too busy.
I guess I'm happy for them that they have so much new business that they don't need to worry about repeat business. Ended up just calling someone else who was more than happy to schedule a time to come out and give us an estimate and do the repairs.
