I am always thrilled to discover quality and unique non-chain eateries in the phoenix area. The artisan bread the sandwich was assembled on was delicious. I ordered the mozzarella, tomato, basil sandwich. You could taste the quality mozzarella but i found the ingredients would have popped more and melted better together if it was seasoned with salt and pepper.
The menu is minimal. 4 or 5 sandwich options with one being the market sandwich that changes daily. They also offer 3 salads.
The brand of ginger ale they offered was pleasantly delicious. It is not as sweet or artificial tasting as CanadaDry but also not as bitter and sharp as other brands.
The workers there were friendly and the wait was minimal. It is a destination restaurant. There is not much around there. Good size parking lot. There is no seating in the restaurant but there are benches outside.
