Let me start by saying I was very excited to have a wine bar come to Lakewood. I was so excited that I kept giving Humble a try (3) times to be exact. Not once can I say I had a pleasant experience. All three times the hostesses were not great a greeting me. In fact, I greeted them. Of course each time I chose to go was on a weekend so they are busy. I always wait for a seat at the bar, which isn't to bad of a wait. And why is it every time I am in this place the lady (I heard she is the manager or wife of the owner) is so super rude. People started calling her the "wine "Nazi". I actually saw someone move a bar chair over to talk to someone at the table and she yelled across the bar not to do that!! Ughh. I decided to take my best friend to Humble a few weeks ago and she was so rude. We received our pizza ( which was burnt so bad). We both tried it and didnt realize it until we took our first bite. We looked at the bottom and it was black. The ppl sitting next to us even said we should send it back. So I call the ( blonde hair short cut) manager over and she insist it is not burnt and if she made another one for us it would turn out the same way???? Really?? So I said if you make me another one it will come out burnt?? Thankfully, the ppl who sat next to us said the pizza is burnt.. She just took it and made another one and was not happy about it. Plus, there pizzas are over priced and not that great . They say in the restraunt business that service and kindness go a long way.. I do not recommend this place to any of my friends or family or people I come in contact with. Also when you go in plan on feeling smushed and pushed because it is way to tight in there. This maybe be a summer place to visit butbInplan on sticking to other wine places around Cleveland.
