| - The Ryerson SLC has been my go to study place recently.
No matter what time of day I go, it is not difficult finding a study space. There are multiple outlets for each work station and WIFI via the university network, or Eduroam if you are from a different school that supports Eduroam. The hours now are Monday - Friday is 7am - 1am, and Saturday-Sunday 10am - 1am.
There are 8 floors, each with a unique theme and colour scheme. There are washrooms, water fountains on every floor. Vending machines are on most of the floors.
Level 1: The Valley- Main lobby, there is a Starbucks here, no public WIFI though.
Level 2: The Bridge- Bridge connecting to the library.
Level 3: The Bluff- Digital Media Experience centre, and Launch Zone
Level 4: The Garden- Academic Accommodation Support, Reception
Level 5: The Sun- Lots of study space, desks, and group work rooms
Level 6: The Beach- Open concept, good for meeting up with friends but not to study
Level 7: The Forest- Silent study space, lot of desks, group work rooms
Level 8: The Sky- Casual study space, open study area, and group work rooms
I generally stick with the 5th and 7th floor, because these floors tend to be more quiet than the other floors, with lots of desks to study.
