| - As an avid tennis fan, Roger's cup is a dream come true every year for me. No matter if it's mens or womens tournament, I always try to attend a few matches every year.
I think Roger's cup is a very well organized event. Their free weekend is one of the best events ever held. During this weekend, it allows all tennis fans to view their favourite players practice and even watch a few ATP Masters 1000 or WTA Premier qualifying matches for free! I was able to see so many of the top players practice and play and even got to score some pictures and autographs with the top players.
In addition, the ticket prices that this event charges is very reasonable considering the tier of this tournament (second tier next to the four slams), and you are able to watch very high quality matches with them. Note that when if it's the women's year, they remove the bleachers that they usually have for the mens tournament, and you are able to sit in the lower bowl with fan zone tickets. Whereas fanzone tickets are at the bleachers during the men's tournament.
Also, if you ever get hungry, you can either purchase from the vendors that are onsite, or just walk 2 minutes outside of the perimeter for hot dogs that are half the price of what the vendors are charging inside. Or if you really want, you can drop by the free Lindor chocolate tasting booths (one of my favourites), where you can try some free freshly made chocolates!
The only downside I would say about this is the parking. The parking is so far away from the stadium and it takes around 15 minutes to walk from your car to the stadium. However, it's a nice walk through the York University campus.
