Living in Las Vegas we've been to a lot of buffets and I was skeptical of this one given some of the Yelp reviews, but it was great! The price was about standard (but too high if you ask me). We went for dinner and it was right around $25.00. I was a bit surprised that I had to pay adult price for my 12 year old when most start charging more when they turn 13. The buffet was very clean and spacious. They had an array of food selections. Not only did they split the crab legs, they cleaned and peeled the shrimp! All the food tasted great. You have to get your own drinks which I didn't like because ultimately other than plate removal, there is no service thus a minimal tip for the employees. The desserts were fabulous! They had a chocolate molten cake that was to die for! Of 4 buffets in the area (Excaliber, MGM and Mandalay Bay) the Luxor would be the one I would choose to go back too.
