| - My fiance recommended SEVG after I was having some NEW stomach/bowel movement issues. I met with the PA who was extremely thorough, took her time with me and had me schedule some follow up tests. Note - this was 2 years ago. I scheduled my tests and they found my gallbladder was inflamed and the culprit. Recommended several surgeons found one that I really liked. The procedure was quick and easy. For about 6-8 months it seemed to have solved the problem, but low and behold, the bowel movement probelms came back. I have had chronic constipation for well over 15 years and now after turning 50 was going in for my 4th, yes 4th colonoscopy (oh the joy). Anyway, my appt (9/4/15) was scheduled for 7:30 am and I was in and out by 9:30 am. Everyone was extremely nice, caring and funny. Upon awakening from the procedure, Dr. Patel told me that he had discovered the cause of my ongoing issues, my colon had 2 extra loops in and he could hardly get the scope to the end. I was SHOCKED...that it took 4 colonoscopies and 15 years for someone to finally find the problem. I mean, really what did those other 3 find when they looked - did they not reach the end?? I couldn't be happier with the procedure, the fact that a Dr. was actually able to locate the issue, and now I will be following up to get the issue corrected and hopefully after 15 years of suffering will be on the path to no more constipation.
