The fact that Jamms is so close to my house is really just the cherry on top of the cake that is this lovely breakfast joint in Las Vegas.
We tend to visit here at least twice a month, usually on Sunday mornings (which is kind of a mistake because that's when after church crowd tends to swarm it) so there's always a wait, but believe me it is worth it.
The omelettes are nice, big and fluffy and the home fries are just right. The orange juice is delicious (I'm not sure if they claim its fresh-squeezed, but I have my doubts). The coffee isn't spectacular, but definitely passable.
One of the things that set Jamms apart: a rotating variety of "pots o' bread" (Management: If you're reading this, PLEASE make the cheddar jalapeƱo pot o' bread a permanent menu item!) - ranging from season flavors to standard fare.
But what I love more than anything is the service. From the hostesses, to the bus people, waitresses and waiters, everyone is friendly and treats you like family. There are seriously staff members who are genuinely happy to see you week after week.
That's what keeps this place going strong; nothing fancy or fussy, good food and great service.
