There are only 3 chair lifts and a handful of runs but the snow was OK, not slushy. Cheaper and better to go on a weekday when it's not crowded. They also have a nifty freestyle terrain that allows the more adventurous boarders/skiers to practice their jumps. It's approximately an hour away from central Las Vegas. Nevertheless, I'm floored by how much they charge for lift tickets. $60 (at the time I went) for a weekend full-day adult ticket. That's 20 bucks for each chair lift. Insane!
Bottom line, if you're looking for a quick snow fix or just beginning to learn how to ski, this resort is doable. Other than that, you will find better runs and facilities at the larger, albeit farther, ski resorts.
