I went to the Desert Ridge location to pick up a Food Network Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Sizzle Pan Set. I ordered and paid for it online. While there, I perused the men's department and the picture frames. After making my selections and walking around the store to locate customer service (I haven't been to this location since they remodeled and moved customer service to the front)--I discovered customer service was by one of the entrances of which I did not enter through those doors- hence why I missed where it located.
A nice employee assisted me at the customer service counter and made the transaction of picking up the item I ordered very pleasant.
The next employee I came into contact with was Juli at the check out registers. She was pleasant, friendly, and customer service orientated. I enjoyed interacting with her. She inquired if I had a Kohl's Card and I said no. She asked if I wanted to apply and I said yes. She walked me through the entire process and it went smoothly. She explained the benefits of having a Kohl's card: Kohl's cash and the notifications I would receive. In addition, I received an additional 20% off my purchase that I selected in the store. It was a huge savings because they were already on sale.
This Kohl's has customer friendly employees. I need to mention that after entering the store, I was greeted by another nice employee in the men's department. I believe that this location of Kohl's is geared toward customer service. It made me feel welcome and I would rather shop here than at the competitors because the employees at Kohl's seem genuinely interested in providing that satisfying customer experience that so many large retailers have forgotten.
I will return to this location in the near future. The store is clean and organized. This is how all stores should be.
