  • This is a long overdue review, we've been coming to the children's museum for quite some time now. We made our first visit when our son just turned 1 and at that time he seemed to like water world (touch pools w/ interactive play) and toddler town (toddler geared playzone and craft tables). We held off on the annual membership until my son turned 2 since he couldn't really utilize most of the museum. He's 3 now and absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES the museum. Its the best indoor children's play place in Vegas, hands down and works perfectly when the weather is just too hot or cold for outdoor activities. There's so many areas in the museum to keep any child stimulated for hours of fun. Its probably ideal for children under 10yrs or so but there's no age restrictions other than in toddler town. We usually come once a week and stay for a couple of hours and my son still causes a fuss when we're getting ready to leave...he loves it that much. Its a great way to spend the day, allowing the lil ones to get their energy out, playing and learning all in a very safe environment. It can get pretty crowded during the summer months, weekends and when they have special exhibits for members. We went to the opening for their Thomas the Train exhibit and holy cow it was super packed that evening, thankfully its not like that all the time otherwise I would never go back. During the weekdays they usually have 2-3 bus loads of kids on fieldtrips but they usually clear out by mid afternoon, thank god. The day pass is $14.50 per person, children under 1 are free. Their annual family membership prices start for a family of 3 for $149 and go up to $359 depending on the number of family members you include and are well worth it. Plus you get discounts at other children's museums that participate in (ACM) across the country. I'd be more than happy to pay double in membership fees just to keep the riff raff out and keep it less crowded, sounds kinda harsh but I gotta say it like it is. The location of the museum isn't the greatest, just saying.
