The only reason I don't frequent this authentic little Mexican joint more often is because it's located on the other side of town. Otherwise I would drop by weekly.
First of all, let me say that you would never guess that such a beautifully done interior existed based upon it's nondescript facade. The booths are hand carved and beautifully painted. More importantly, they are comfortable. The service that we experienced was exemplary... both friendly and attentive.
We shared the wet burrito and several authentic tacos which means your meat, onions and cilantro only, on a soft flour tortilla. Everything was delicious and servings were enormous. Chips and salsa were very good too. Pricing is normal but you get a lot for your money.
Most Charlotte Mexican restaurants serve the same generic fare and and most are pretty good; however, this is the only one so far that I give a Gotta Try.
